We’re two best friends, both named Julia, and pretty much every road trip or errand run in Montreal ends the exact same way: iced matchas in hand.
The problem was, most cafés were breaking our hearts. We’d pay nine bucks just to get handed something dull, chalky, and bitter—usually drowned in syrup to cover it up. We just wanted what real matcha is supposed to be: crazy bright green, silky smooth, and clean energy.
When we couldn't find it, we obsessed over creating it ourselves. We did our homework, tried countless samples, and learned everything we could to make sure we were bringing you the absolute best of the best. We ended up partnering straight with family-run farms in Shizuoka, Japan to source pure, ceremonial matcha.
